How long does it take to register my domain name?

We submit your domain order immediately to the Registrar. Since our domain name signup system is integrated with the Registrar's own systems, we receive confirmation that a domain name is reserved in as little as a few minutes, up to about an hour, depending on the volume of domains being registered at that time.

Even though your domain has been registered, your domain will still show as being available for a few days following your registration. This is because the public databases that show whether or not a domain is available are only updated three to four times a week. That means until the next update, those searches would indicate that your domain is available, even though in reality it is already in your possession.
